Google Ads suspended? Make the next step clear.

RID Marketing helps advertisers with suspended Google Ads accounts review the notice, investigate account and website issues, organize corrections, and prepare a factual appeal. Start here for a first recovery engagement or when verification and policy restrictions overlap.

Verification and suspension can be two separate barriers.

Attraction Marketing: two requirements, two stages.

RID worked with Attraction Marketing on an account that had both unfinished Business Operations Verification and an Unacceptable Business Practices suspension. The team organized business identity, advertising responsibilities, and payment information first, then prepared the separate suspension materials.

The published case records verification completed in May 2025 and client-confirmed reinstatement in June. It demonstrates coordinated verification and appeal work, with each account status checked separately.

Find practical answers: the work, scope, evidence, and responsibilities.

Start with the notice, not a guess.

Send the exact wording of the notice, the affected customer ID, your website, and a brief history of earlier appeals. Tell us whether the account has a separate identity or payment verification task. Those details establish what needs reviewing before anyone writes another explanation.

A traffic drop alone does not identify a suspension. We first distinguish an account restriction from an individual ad disapproval or a campaign delivery problem, then scope the work around the actual decision.

Different policies need different evidence.

The following are starting points for RID’s assessment. They are not a diagnosis of your account or an exhaustive list of Google’s requirements.

Notice or issueFocus of the review
Circumventing SystemsAccount history, destination behavior, verification accuracy, and any unresolved related restrictions.
Unacceptable Business PracticesWho provides the offer, what customers are promised, and evidence for identity, qualifications, or brand relationships.
Suspicious Payment ActivityThe advertiser–payer relationship, authorized payment use, billing history, and any requested verification.
Verification problemThe task that failed, the correct account type, the relevant entity, and the documents requested.

From review to a documented submission.

We compare the account information with the website and the way your business actually operates. A useful finding identifies a specific inconsistency, the reason it matters, and who needs to resolve it. We separate confirmed facts from possibilities that still need checking.

The agreed work may include website recommendations, implementation support, a document checklist, and appeal preparation. Before submission, we review the corrected pages and supporting material together so the explanation describes completed work accurately.

We keep one coordinated appeal record. If an appeal is already pending, we first check its status and organize the existing materials. Google cautions against excessive duplicate appeals; another submission should add relevant facts or corrections.

  1. Assess the notice and earlier submissions.
  2. Record findings and agree on responsibilities.
  3. Complete the relevant corrections and collect evidence.
  4. Prepare the appeal and respond to requests within the agreed scope.

What you receive from the recovery work.

The recovery record connects each finding to the account detail, live page, or document involved. We agree which workstreams are needed before starting, including whether RID implements website corrections or works with your developer.

WorkstreamPractical output
AssessmentAccount and notice history, specific findings, supporting evidence, and open questions.
RemediationA prioritized change list with an owner for each task and a record of completed checks.
Appeal preparationAn explanation of the business, relevant evidence, and completed corrections, reviewed with you for accuracy.
Submission and follow-upA dated copy of the submission and decisions, with follow-up responsibilities agreed in advance.

What to bring to the first conversation.

You do not need to build a large dossier before the introductory call. The notice, website, account history, and current status are enough to discuss fit. If we proceed, we agree on access and document handling before sensitive materials are shared.

  • A dated copy of each notice and decision.
  • An explanation of the business, its customers, and who fulfills the offer.
  • Previous appeal text and any replies from Google.
  • A list of changes already made, including agency, billing, or ownership changes.

Know what the engagement covers.

Fees depend on the account history, number of affected accounts or websites, verification tasks, and implementation needed. Document availability and website approvals affect preparation time; Google controls the review time. We agree on assessment, corrections, submission support, follow-up limits, fees, and applicable refund terms before work begins.

Track completed corrections, unresolved tasks, submission dates, and the actual account decision separately. An appeal being submitted is not reinstatement; restored access is not a measurement of future campaign performance. Ongoing campaign management is a separate service.

The free 15-minute call establishes fit. A full diagnostic review is a separate agreed engagement. RID is independent from Google and cannot promise a review queue, approval date, or reinstatement.

A few practical questions.

Can you help after an appeal has been denied?

Yes. We begin with the original appeal and denial, then assess whether there are unanswered questions, missing records, or further corrections to make. A revised submission needs a factual basis; changing the tone alone adds little.

Do you need my Google password?

No. We agree on the appropriate account access when work begins. You should remain in control of your account and complete personal identity or payment challenges through the official Google process.

Does recovery include managing my ads afterward?

Ongoing campaign management is a separate scope. If you want support after reinstatement, we can discuss campaign readiness, measurement, and ongoing management alongside the recovery work.

Can we start while an appeal is pending?

We can discuss the situation and organize the existing record. Any further submission should account for the pending status and the platform’s instructions. Tell us exactly what has already been sent.
