Shopify Merchant Center suspension & review support.
Shopify store connected. Google listings still blocked.
RID helps Shopify merchants prepare a connected store and product feed for Merchant Center review. The work follows the Google & YouTube connection or other feed integration through the live storefront, submitted products, and checkout, so corrections can be verified where shoppers and Google encounter them.

From the published work
A connected feed is only one part of a review-ready store.
The transaction needs to make sense.
In the Peak Relax case, RID found that a return policy blurred the time to request a return with the time to send back an approved return. The broader recovery involved additional business, verification, and website work. That transaction-review lesson applies when checking Shopify policies too: published terms must match how the store actually handles an order.
Find practical answers: the work, scope, evidence, and responsibilities.
Confirm the store and account connection.
Record the Shopify domain, claimed website, Merchant Center ID, connected Google account, and the integration responsible for product data. If a feed app is also installed, identify what it controls before making changes in more than one place.
Start with the actual Merchant Center issue. An app showing a connection does not establish that the products or account are approved. Keep the connection status, product-data status, and policy status separate.
Review the published store, not only the editor.
Open the customer-facing pages and follow the links a shopper sees. Check the footer, mobile menu, product templates, and checkout. A policy saved in Shopify is not useful if the public link is broken or the page still contains a different business name.
Ask the store owner to confirm that the terms describe the real business. Do not copy a shipping origin, return address, support promise, or delivery estimate from another store.
- Check that contact methods work and identify the right seller.
- Compare delivery promises on product pages with the shipping policy.
- Check return conditions, destinations, and fees before checkout.
- Remove placeholders and repair links customers need to make a decision.
Follow a sample of products through the system.
Choose a representative set of products, including variants and any unusual delivery conditions. Compare the Shopify record, the submitted data, the rendered product page, and checkout. Keep the product ID and evidence of each mismatch.
After a correction, verify the latest data reaching Merchant Center. An integration may own a value differently from a theme or product editor, so establish the source of truth for that field before repeating the edit.
| Sample check | Confirm |
|---|---|
| Variant | The listed option and landing-page selection refer to the same product. |
| Stock | Availability describes what the store can actually fulfill. |
| Price | The intended price and currency remain consistent. |
| Delivery | The advertised destination can be served under the stated conditions. |
Prepare the review as a complete record.
Before requesting review, close the relevant findings, complete any required verification, and retest the purchase journey. Record the corrections with the live URLs and affected product IDs so the explanation can be checked.

Where RID can help.
This service is for Shopify merchants who need implementation coordination across the store, product integration, and Merchant Center. We work with the owner, developer, or feed manager to identify which system controls a value before editing it.
You receive a store-and-account connection record, findings tied to live pages and sampled product IDs, an assigned correction list, retest notes, and support preparing the review explanation. Theme edits, policy-content changes, and feed work are included only when agreed.
Bring the notice, store URL, Merchant Center ID, installed feed integrations, and current review status. Shopify and Google access can be arranged through account invitations after scope is agreed. A free introductory call establishes fit; the complete review is a separate engagement.
What affects cost, timing, and readiness.
Product and variant counts, target countries, app ownership, custom theme behavior, and the amount of content or data correction shape the fee. Store approvals, developer availability, product synchronization, and any Google verification or review restriction affect timing.
Progress means corrected public pages, matching sampled product values, a working purchase journey, and a clear record of the remaining tasks. A connected app, successful product sync, and account approval are different statuses; we check them separately.
Before we talk
A few practical questions.
Does installing a feed app clear misrepresentation?
No app installation establishes that the business or store meets the relevant policy. Check the actual account issue, the submitted product data, and the customer experience.
Should I reconnect the account first?
Do not change the connection simply to try a different account. First confirm the current IDs, issue, and integration ownership. Make a connection change only when it addresses a genuine setup problem and the history remains accurate.
Can I keep using Shopify?
The review focuses on how the store operates and the information it provides. A Merchant Center restriction does not by itself demonstrate that the ecommerce platform must be replaced.
