Ask what happens before an appeal is written.
A provider should explain how they review the notice, prior submissions, business model, and relevant website or billing information. The necessary depth depends on the issue, but the engagement should have an identifiable assessment step.
Ask what you receive from that assessment. A findings list with evidence and assigned actions is more useful than a promise to use stronger language. Clarify whether the introductory call includes any actual account review.
Compare deliverables, not just a package name.
The same phrase can describe very different services. Establish which tasks the provider performs and which remain with your team. Ask about website implementation, verification coordination, submission responsibility, and follow-up after a decision.
| Question | What a clear answer covers |
|---|---|
| What will you review? | Specific accounts, notices, pages, records, and relevant history. |
| Who makes corrections? | The responsible party and how completion is confirmed. |
| What is submitted? | A factual response and relevant evidence approved for accuracy. |
| What happens after denial? | The included assessment or follow-up and any additional fee. |
| Who retains control? | Account ownership, access, records, and handover. |
Evaluate outcome and access claims carefully.
Ask what supports a claimed success rate, what period it covers, and how unsuccessful or withdrawn cases are counted. A few historical examples do not establish your account’s likelihood of reinstatement.
Google’s suspension guidance makes clear that reinstatement depends on its review. A provider should distinguish its own assessment and response time from Google’s decision and timing. Ask what any claim of special access actually means.
Read the scope and payment terms together.
Clarify the fee, deposit, follow-up limits, implementation costs, and any refund or outcome-related terms before work begins. A guarantee can refer to a contractual payment arrangement rather than a guaranteed platform decision; those are different commitments.
The agreement should explain what the client must supply and what happens if essential records or corrections are unavailable. Keep the proposal, agreement, and relevant written commitments together.
What to expect from a RID conversation.
We start with the notice, the business, and the work already tried. The free 15-minute conversation establishes fit and what a scoped review would require. The engagement then defines the assessment, responsibilities, evidence process, and follow-up.
RID is independent from Google. We help clients prepare accurate records, address relevant findings, and communicate clearly; we do not sell a guaranteed policy decision.
Common questions.
Is the lowest price always the best option?
Compare the actual deliverables and responsibilities. A narrow writing service and a review with implementation support may have very different scopes.
Should I ask to see a sample findings report?
That can help you understand the deliverable, provided any example protects client information. Ask how confirmed findings, uncertainties, and implementation tasks are distinguished.
Can I appeal without hiring an agency?
The official account process is available to eligible advertisers. Specialist support is a service choice, not a requirement imposed by Google.
