Confirm what was actually restored.
Keep the decision email and check the current account notice. Record whether there are remaining verification tasks, disapproved ads, or restrictions in another product. An account-level decision does not establish that every campaign element is ready.
If Merchant Center is involved, confirm the relevant product and account statuses there too. Maintain separate records rather than using one successful email as proof that the entire setup is clear.
Review campaign settings before resuming.
RID recommends checking the current budgets, schedules, locations, bidding settings, and campaign status against the business’s present capacity. The plan that made sense before the interruption may no longer match stock, staffing, or demand.
Establish who has authority to resume or adjust spend. Review campaigns in a deliberate order, document the settings, and avoid changing several unrelated variables at once if you want to understand subsequent performance.
Recheck the live customer journey.
Test the landing pages, forms, telephone links, purchase flow, and any page changed during remediation. Confirm that the approved correction is still live and that a theme update or integration has not overwritten it.
Keep the offer aligned with the ad. If a product has become unavailable or a service area has changed, update the campaign before sending customers to an inaccurate page.
- Important pages load and identify the right business.
- Forms and contact routes reach the responsible team.
- The product or service can be supplied as advertised.
- Pricing and customer terms reflect the current offer.
Verify measurement before judging performance.
Confirm which actions count as conversions and test the agreed tracking path. Separate a real inquiry or sale from a page view, duplicate event, or internal test. Record any measurement changes so the first report after reinstatement can be interpreted correctly.
Compare results with context. A short restart period, changed budget, seasonality, or revised conversion definition can make a simple before-and-after comparison misleading.
Give ongoing checks an owner.
Keep a short register of important account, billing, website, and business-information changes. Assign responsibility for reviewing notices and completing tasks before their deadlines.
The recovery record should remain available to the people managing the account. If an agency or employee changes, include that history in the handover so a future question can be answered accurately.
Common questions.
Should I increase the budget immediately?
Base the decision on the business’s current goals, capacity, and agreed campaign plan. Reinstatement alone is not evidence that a larger budget will perform well.
What if an ad remains disapproved?
Read the ad’s own policy status and follow its review process. Do not assume the account reinstatement decision also approved every ad or destination.
Does RID offer ongoing management?
Yes. Ongoing Google Ads management can be scoped separately from reinstatement, including campaign review, measurement, and reporting.
